Don't let that sweet, innocent face fool you.  Axel is the hype man.  He is the alarm clock.  He gets everyone riled up and excited, especially at meal time.  When breakfast or dinner time gets close, rest assured, Axel is on watch and ready to sound the alarm so everyone can start complaining for their food.  It's ok, though the caretakers and volunteers appreciate how punctual he is!
