Ru came to Pebble Ranch from a very dangerous shelter in Riverside.  We don’t know why he ended up there, but we do know he was on the defense.  Poor Ru had been misunderstood.  He was not angry or aggressive.  He was just very afraid.  It took a few weeks for Ru to feel safe and understand that he now had a home with love and kindness.  Now, Ru lets us sit with him and give him scratches and affection.
